Feature Film in Warwick
The Warwick Arts Centre in Warwick, UK is showing the 1999 moving image installation by Douglas Gordon at the Mead Gallery from 1 May 2012 to 23 June 2012 alongside his new work Zidane , which follows the famous footballer. The event is called Maestros.
An Oscar for the Artist
Ludovic Bource won an the Oscar for the best original score. A scene in the film uses the music from Bernard Herrmann's Vertigo (Scene d'Amour) The score has also won the following awards previously.
FILMUS-L returns
The Filmus-L archive is now available from the Bernard Herrmann Society. The archives start in 1993 and end in 2010. If you were into film music in the nineties it was the most important place to be. Also includes "Filmus-L: A Brief History" by H. Stephen Wright. FILMUS-L archive .
